    Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, has been one of the most popular tourist destinations in northeast India. It is situated at an altitude of 1,520 meters (4,990 feet) above sea level. It is situated on a plateau bound on the north by the Umiam Gorge, on the northwest by the great mass of the Diengiei Hills that rise up to a height of 1,823 meters (6077 ft.) above sea level, and on the northeast by the hills of the Assam valley.

    It is also known as the “Scotland of the East” due to its striking similarity with the Scottish highlands. It is located at a distance of 104 km from Guwahati, 295 km from Kaziranga, 578 km from Siliguri, and 658 km from Darjeeling.

    • Day 01:

      Arrive Guwahati to Kaziranga (240km/5hrs)

      Arrive Guwahati airport/ Railway station and then we will take you to Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park is a world heritage site in Assam popular for the one horned rhinoceros. This beautiful creature is seen only in Kaziranga and a few other national parks of Assam. Apart from the rhino, there are other numerous flora and fauna available in Kaziranga. With an area of around 430 square kilometers Kaziranga is an amazing place worth visiting. Overnight stay at at Kaziranga.
    • Day 02:

      Kaziranga ( Safari )

      We will take you to the elephant safari of the national park in the early morning. In elephant safaris tourists are escorted into the jungle on the back of elephants so that they can have a closer view of the wildlife. We will also take you for jeep safari of the national park in the afternoon. In the meantime, we will show you some places around Kaziranga like orchid gardens, tea gardens, hilly streams, ethnic village models etc. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
    • Day 03:

      Kaziranga to Shillong (280km/7hrs)

      After breakfast proceed to Shillong. It will be a road trip through the wonderful plains and hills of the northeast. After reaching there, we will take you out for sightseeing of the city. Shillong is a beautiful city of Meghalaya, most of the time covered in clouds. For the nice weather of this city, it is popularly known as Scotland of the East. The places to see here are Umiam lake (which will fall on our way to Shillong), Wards Lake, Lady Hyadri Park and Don Bosco Museum. Overnight stay at Shillong Hotel
    • Day 04:

      Shillong & Cherrapunji Sightseeing (170km/9hrs)

      After breakfast proceed to Cherrapunji. On our way, you will get to see the Shillong Peak and Elephant falls in the outskirts of Shillong. After reaching Cherrapunji, we will show you the places around Cherrapunji. The prime attractions of Cherrapunji are the Mawsmai caves, Seven sisters falls, and Nohkalikai falls. We will return to Shillong for the night's stay.
    • Day 05:

      Mawlynnong & Dawki, Sightseeing (245km/9hrs)

      In the morning we will return from there and visit two small places of Meghalaya. Mawlynnong is a small village famous for its cleanliness. It is also called as the cleanest village in Asia. There is also a living root bridge in Mawlynnong just like in Cherrapunji. We will then go to Dawki, just 20 kilometres south of Mawlynnong. Dawki is a town situated in the border of India and Bangladesh. There is a river named Umngot river in that place famous for Dawki bridge and boating. After visiting the places in Dawki, we will return to Shillong and Overnight stay at hotel.
    • Day 06:

      Shillong to Guwahati (100km/4hrs)

      After breakfast we will take you to Guwahati to drop you at the airport. If there is time permit visits the Kamakhya temple.
